Stage 2: Publications

(NOTE: If you would like to read more about any item, please read the section at right, headed up Stages, where they are all detailed.)

This stage is about publishing - in magazines & on-line. I've had some articles printed in the past but wanted to write something more personal. Subsequently two magazine articles were written for Workbox & published several months apart during 2013/2014:

The first (above) entitled "PATTERNS OF MY LIFEhighlights some of those first 'design ideas' to be used for future artwork.

The second one entitled "UBIQUITOUS CELLS" (above) details the workings of a "Cell" idea & some other personal artwork

Several years earlier I had made a stitched book after researching WWII 'Make Do & Mend' & it had been displayed to many students & classes. I enjoyed computer designing & working on-line with blogging so decided to 'publish' this book on YouTube - below is its front cover.

I  enjoyed this transformation to an on=line one & began thoughts on another. This was memories of events in my life to be displayed as some sort of 'artwork'. Entitled 'Interspection', I thought it would be a good idea to also turn it into an on-line 'Flip-Book'.

Several samples provided ideas for how periods between 1952 & 1968 (above) should be worked & its these that were selected for the Interspection FlipBook.
