Revamped Stitch Sanctuary ...

After discovering some of an earlier website has been reduced in imagery (after a Google-update I think!), I decided to reconfigure it (click the above image if you want to see more) as well as create a blog from it too. Many other images had also got lost (one below) so I've revamped everything  ... & will continue to do so.

DEJA VU ...

 

As I begin to organise & tidy up my on-line activities, I came across an earlier blog that reminded me of one of my all-time favourite poems by Edward Lear (above). That in turn led me to one of my posts about a textile game I created, entitled 'Deja Vu'. I meant to upload it before ... perhaps I now will!

Stage 4: eDoing !

 

Stage 4 is about to start with the decision to stop writing some earlier blogs as they're now being summarised within the main website one as "The Art of eDoing" - aka: what I'm doing by computer! To read it, click the above image which incidentally features as artwork from the latest - "Project:Anger".

This particular project is hopefully going to be an emotive piece of work that's been 'lurking' around for some time so when commissioned to do it, I was very pleased. Unfortunately it's having a few stitchery problems at the moment which is holding me up but it has meant the project's been totally documented to date. This is one of the first times I've done this & hope to keep it up as it usually takes more time to complete the write-up than stitch the work!
